In Tempo With Life Concert..!


oh. my. god. after weeks of practices, this wonderful, awesome, spectacular, rocking concert ended just few hours ago. and it was fantasticly fantastic..! of course, not all parts were played correctly, some miscounted, didn't look at the conductor, not following beat, blah blah blah.. but who cares, man. this concert's a hit..! concert of the year..! lol so exaggerating.. ^^


one very important point here. PERCUSSIONISTS - I LOVE ALL OF YOU. you guys rock la, seriously.. without you guys i won't even love being in this section so much. how am i gonna leave you guys after form five..?


Amelia - you're such a great section leader. really. a great one. i'm really thankful you're our section leader plus vice president. percussion would be nothing without you. really really good job.. ^^ oh. and can you not be so high when he's there ah..? you and amalina right.. aiyo..! cannot control..!


Sherwin - lol our conductress. and amelia's assistant. hahahaha shortest conductress la. sometimes quite hard to see you.. ^^ lol and when we high five next time, remember to do it high. ^^


Anna - hahaha sometimes i kind of pity you. keep playing mallet percussion. lol but don't worry.. you're an awesome player..! keep going, anna..!


Ganga - lol.. in percussion section you're the one with the funniest expression. even when playing the drumset you look like you're giving commands on the field.. you know, the drum major look..? haizz drum major.. =.='


Nas - OMG..! Magnificent Seven..! did we screw up..? lol i don't know. what i know is that we're having so much fun together during band practices and concert moments will never ever be forgotten..! my best friend forever la nas.. ^^


Amalina - you're like, the funniest and lamest percussionists ever. oh my god i do loooooove you in this section.. ^^ no amalina no fun right..? ^^


Priyankka - aww, pri..! lol i remember West Side Story. instead of maria.. you'll go a-priya.. hahaha and remember my dream of angie with the tiny clip..? ^^ then amalina and all will start laughing.. ^^


Hannan - eh hannan. your dark brown drumsticks looks really nice. but cannot roll..! my god, i didn't know and i used your sticks to play on the snare. and my roll turned out.. haha. you can guess la. and i remember you wore amelia's pants on the matinee right..? and your pants keep falling down.. hahaha..! ^^


Shivaani - yo, shivaani. lame junior. lol always has story to tell. and when your story starts you'll never stop. =.=' but shivaani, i really enjoy playing together with you.. ^^ like hujan di tengah hari and 2008 sports day march pass.. ^^


Chyn Thong - you such a fast learner..! we're all proud of you..! even aisyah..! ^^ very good, very good.. ^^


Kim Fong - hahahaha you can chill la. Wallace and Gromit wasn't bad okay.. ^^ chill chibi, chill.. ^^ anyways, kim fong, i really like you as a junior.. but i won't be performing in a concert with you anymore..! *sobs* lol.. =.='


Diana - aiyo, diana, chill la. whenever you see me, you'll ask me how's your cymbal playing.. haiyo. it's okay don't worry.. chill chill. =.='


Amira - gosh, you're such a fast learner..! your cymbal during Tribal Dance, it rocks..! ^^ priyangka the saxophonist and sheryl also liked it. ^^

Aisyah - ahh. you. the best clarinetist la. (: hahaha you know, i actually think you have something alike just like me..? that we have the same hair straightener and just as vain as i am.. ^^ lol..

Lydia - partner in crime..! xD lol lydia, i'm really happy working together with you. you know, to be honest, when i first got this Librarian job, i was like, what the hell man.. but i realised it wasn't that bad actually.. at least i have you.. ^^ and now i'm kind of enjoying it.. haha.. ^^


Sheryl - lol you can chill la. the piccolo demon.. ^^ hehehe i bet you're doing your homework now.. rushing for school and stuffs like that.. =.='



Kamini - you know what, you've done a really great and awesome job in this concert, kamini. thanks for making it so great..! thanks kamini.. thanks..! and as a president, it's really great too..!

Lock See - lol. you ah. hahaha best best best trumpeter la. ^^ oh oh oh. and thanks for sending me home.. ^^

Colourguards and ELDS members - if you've ever come over this post, you guys have done a really great job..! really, thanks for supporting this concert and make it this wonderful..!


last but not least, to all band teachers, ms cheryl mah, and mr cheng kok, thank you for all the patience and effort you've put into this concert. i wouldn't expect any of you to ever come across this post but i would really like to thank all of you for everything.


hahaha.. i remembered on the matinee day, when i was in nas's house we were like thinking back of the olden days. the days when we were saying that we can't wait for this concert, what are the plans for this concert and stuffs like that, and poof. now it's over. oh my god.. it's really sad that it's already over, and it's our last one..! all form 4 and 5's last concert..! no......! T.T


and wow. the night practice was so fun..! i love it..! it's like, playing in the dark. wow. ^^ till like 11 something..? ^^ hahaha and then there were people that tripped during practice.. haha like amalina..? lol and me too. and then ms cheryl was like, 'walk properly..!' hahaha..


i don't know. i don't know how to express my feeling into this post right now. i just can't do it. it's like, as if a strong bond is holding us together and no words are needed. we all understands. (:
anyways - i still wanna say that -


I LOVE ALL OF THE AMB PERCUSSIONISTS, EVERY SINGLE BAND MEMBER, AND I DEFINITELY LOVE THIS CONCERT..! it's magnificent because there's magnificent players..! ^^ lol i just love the word magnificent.. ^^


gosh. i'm not thinking properly. ^^ hahaha anyway, the concert ends, my post ends too. bye.. ^^ love you guys loaaaaaaaads..! ^^

I Love You Guys, Percussionists

band concert is coming.., so definitely there's practice. during the holidays too, obvoiusly. for the whole two weeks. for the first week, practice was from 8am to 12pm and second week its from 8am to 4pm. blah blah blah all boring part.....


okay. i don't want to forget all these people - all the percussionists. Amalina, Anna, Amelia, Hannan, Priyankka, Nas, Ganga, Kim Fong, Shivaani and Sherwin (although i seldom see her.. ^^). throughout these two weeks i really had a lot of fun with you all. laughing together.. emo together.. pissed together.. high together.. crazy together.. horny together (mostly with hannan la..^^).. haha..!


okay. lets crack our brains. what did we do on the first week. hmm.. mostly practice West Side Story. haha.. so amelia and i will be like so boring counting bars.. haizz. then is the on-beat off-beat part. hahaha..! 1 and 2 and 1 and 2 and............... then amelia and i will end up playing together instead of on-beat and off-beats.. ^^ lol then its anothet slow part again.. so count bars.. and then its the America song.. o.m.g. 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1 and 2 and 3 and 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3,... keep going snare and bass..! oh.. haha yeah. during the slow parts we were doing new files for the concert.. ^^ and then rush back to our instrument when it's our turn.. ^^


every morning usually when i reach the bandroom anna and kim fong will be there already. so anna and i will race and see who can finish reading bukit kepong first.. no life huh.. oh..! so there's this morning that i'm a little late than usual. so anna sms-ed me, 'angie! where the hell are you?!' lol haha.. so i said, 'my car met an accident so now solving some problems. sorry if i can't come today.' lol. and she BELIEVED. and.. kim fong cried..? =.='


haha.. horny time. there's this joke about a saxophone going in and out of 'something'. =.=' and once hannan was actually touching the small and round part of the glockenspiel, saying, 'ooouuh..' =.=' but i didn't know. so i told hannan, 'hannan, anna asked you to show me what you did..' and we all started laughing like hell.. and there one part that i did the 'drill the stomach action' with both my hands but it looked so wrong.. =.=' stupid nas and amelia laughed like hell.. hmmph! oh..! and haha..! hannan was trying to be sexy and seduce me as if i'm a pole while singing asmaradana. lol ganga couldn't take it that she started moving further and further away for us..! but hannan, your seducing skill quite bad la.. i cannot feel anything.. (: improve, improve.. ^^ [i bet only i can understand what i'm typing]


lol, poor ganga. once or twice, during lunch time, amelia was throwing ice at ganga. hehehe. naughty angie helped by putting the ice straight into her shirt.. ^^ and this ganga ah, her own phone ringing also don't know. hannan was like, 'eh ganga, your phone ringing..' ganga keep saying, 'no, it's not my phone.' when the phone is actually vibrating so hard..!


there's this thing i don't understand about amalina. is handphone game really that addictive ah..? =.=' and she's back to her, 'you guys..! you guys..!' anna, why did you remind her..?!


'amelia, are you a lesbian?' hahahahaha..! funniest question ever..! omg. amelia was like, 'obviously no..!' and nas said 'prove it.' so amelia turned wanted to kiss nas but she realised nas IS a GIRL. haha chill la amelia.. we obviously know you're not la.. ^^


lols okay. whatever happened this whole two week definitely can't fit in this post. whatsoever. i still love you guys the most. plus sheryl, aisyah and lydia. (: i really don't know how to leave you guys after form five. especially when we've spent so much time together during band. T.T even after today's practice, about going home time when i hugged all of you i feel like crying already.. T.T


the only thing i can say - PERCUSSIONISTS, I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. (plus aisyah, lydia and sheryl..XD)


I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU GUYS..!
